Liz challenges leaders to focus first on "Expectations". She believes that leaders need to clarify their expectations and communicate them clearly to their organization. Next, she focuses on "Accountability". Leaders generate a set of core values and house rules that keep everyone accountable to do the right thing. The "S" is "Simplify Systems" to help employees minimize frustrations and work smarter. Finally, the "Y" relates to "You". Leaders should model the behavior that they want others to follow.
