Martin Limbeck, CSP, is a member of the National Speakers Association and the first German to speak before this group of speaking professionals. Limbeck, known also as "The Porsche of Sales", started his sales career at the age of 19 selling copiers. He learned sales from the ground up and based on his almost three decades of sales experience, he has formulated a sales training program to maximize the effectiveness of any sales force.
According to Limbeck, developing a sales management plan is one of the most important elements in developing goals for sales improvement. Most firms never take that first step and set the plan. Most just initiate sales training, without looking at the broad picture and evaluating what their sales force really needs to be successful. In training a sales team, Limbeck believes that sales people need to build their self-confidence and be proud of being a sales person to position themselves as professionals in the marketplace. His mantra is, "NO is short for Next Opportunity."
